When first starting this project, I already knew that I had to create a different product since I have done a project similar to this at my old college. That being said, I came up with the idea of creating a bathtub instead of the recommended chair to challenge myself on creating a bathtub design that is eye-catching and luxurious. By applying my knowledge from a product materials class that I was taking at the time, but I also challenged myself to design a tub that can be easily manufactured with no undercuts and can be machined easily. This also gave me the opportunity to test out new 3D printing materials that helped showcase my final skilled model.
